![]() Smoothing or not you guys decide, below I've posted screenshots of 400, 8 dpi with windows sensitivity on default. I play FPS exclusively, so my views might differ in many ways from others but yes all of these different modes of FPS gaming I played with this mouse I felt at the top of my game, I felt high in command of my shots and what a feeling that is, one I must say you just have to try to experience it I have done extensive in game testing, played with pistols, M4/Ak, sniper. By the word "different" I mean I have CONTROL/STABILITY/POWER over the cursor movement, i have that higher end, that edge to draw out smoother curves, smoother trail shots etc. When I switch from other mice to Taipan it feels different or one might say the cursor feels as if it were on a leech 'GRANTED I AGREE' but it isn't noticeable at all once I get into gaming. This is exactly what Taipan is all about, the sensor is freaky when it comes to performance by that I mean it can track very very high speeds of movement, but to give the gamer more control and command over so much power there is some sort of a smoothing agent incorporated on the mouse chip that gives that different feel, that edge, that authority over your shots.Īt first one might think damn this is stupid my shots won't be accurate at all, that's just how I felt in the beginning, I was like damn I have made that stupid mistake again, of going into the market and purchasing something stupid, another marketing gimmick.Theoretically speaking that just might be the case, but if you get down to playing with this mouse, you are like ok, BOOM one shot, two, three, four Wohooo? Now than imagine installing all of these automatic functions in a race car, they will now give the driver more command, more control and more stability and a filtering agent over all those human errors. like a intelli1.1 or G9 it feels like you are driving a race car without automatic fuel injections system, anti-breaking systems, automatic suspension management system, the race car predominantly will run fast but won't have that strong spark/ that edge of control, that's how I feel when I use Intelli1.1a or any other high end gaming mouse, that being said I mean the mouse movements are very raw or untamed. I want you all to think of this scenario like when using a high end gaming mouse e.g. When I switch from my intelli 1.1a to Taipan, yes it feels as if the cross hair is gliding(NOT LAGGING) at first, but then when I get into the game, it feels completely normal. I have noticed the mouse feels a bit different but has no lag what so ever. I did this about a 1000 times.įor those of you who have used some sort of so called "AUTHENTIC" mouse acceleration testing methods to test for +Ve & -Ve acceleration, I don't know what you all are trying to prove here with all those graph charts and plot diagrams all what matters is how your hand movement feels in-game at the end of the day. Unbeatable tracking, this mouse doesn't skip, doesn't miss, doesn't lag and please I found no acceleration, (+VE or -VE) I did extensive swapping on my pad with full speed and very slow swaps and the mouse lands on the same spot every time. The downside to the shape are the side curves, i find them uncomfortable at times and need to find a sweet spot for my self where my thumbs snugly grip the mouse firmly. The wire is braided and is placed appropriately and doesn't affect/hinder my game play. The mouse feet are not that flat at all, they actually glide exceptionally well on my Steelseries QCK full size pad.The sides are of a different material but a good as well none the less.I always had a problem with my sensei slipping out of my hand but Taipan, damn, it's like glued to my fingers: D I love the control I have over the grip. The coating on top is a high quality anti sweat material. The body and texture of the mouse are exceptional and unlike anything i have ever seen before. This review is all about my experience of the mouse and in turn also a response to the reviews Taipan has received earlier on this forum. My aim has always been performance and quality, and would strive to my best of abilities to achieve the level of gaming I'm at, at the moment. MX518, Logitech G300, CM SPAWN, CM STORM, Razer deathadder, Abyssus, Logitech G9, intelli 1.1a, intelli 3.0, Steelseries Kinzu, Xai, Sensei etc. I have used many gaming mice in the past e.g. I'll do extensive testing and based on the results will post here as soon as i can.Ī little backgrounder about myself, I have been a professional cs1.6 gamer for the last 11 years in my country, and have performed on multiple platforms from my team. I have played for more than 10 hours and i can say this mouse has been highly misunderstood and misinterpreted on this forum. I received my Taipan day before yesterday and I must say Razer HAS OUT DONE ITSELF.
